2. Scope of this policy

This policy covers only the kinova-stream.com landing page — an informational site introducing the Kinova platform concept, offering a prototype demo to view, and letting visitors join a waitlist as a future viewer, director, or sponsor. The Kinova platform itself has not launched and is not covered by this policy.

3. No cookies, no tracking, no analytics

This landing page does not use cookies, does not run analytics or tracking scripts, and does not embed third-party advertising or social-media trackers. No behavioral profiling takes place.

4. What data we collect

The only personal data we collect is what you voluntarily submit through a form on the site:

• Email address (and, if provided, your name) when you join the waitlist as a viewer, or when you register interest as a director or sponsor.

Your web hosting/server provider may automatically log standard technical data (e.g., IP address, timestamp, browser type) for security and stability purposes, as is standard for any website; this data is not used for tracking or marketing.

5. Why we collect it and legal basis

We use the email address you submit only to contact you about:

• Kinova's launch and platform updates, if you joined the waitlist as a viewer,
• next steps if you registered interest as a director,
• next steps if you registered interest as a sponsor.

We do not send unrelated marketing, do not sell or share your data with third parties, and do not use it for anything beyond the purpose above. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and, where you requested director/sponsor onboarding information, pre-contractual measures at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

6. Recipients

We do not share your data with third parties, except a hosting/email service provider acting strictly as our processor (data processing agreement in place per Art. 28 GDPR), to store the data and send the communications described above.

7. Storage duration

We keep your email address until the purpose is fulfilled (e.g., the platform has launched and you've been contacted) or until you ask us to delete it — whichever is earlier.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the data we hold about you, to object to its processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time — simply email hello@kinova-stream.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

9. No automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling based on the data collected here.

10. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
